What size are my wheels?
The stock sizes all have an offset of 40mm or 40 ET and are:
14x5.5 (steel) w/114.3x4 bolt pattern (Base)
14x5.5 w/ 114.3x4 bolt pattern (Base, Luxury, 87.5-88 SE)
15x6 w/ 114.3x5 bolt pattern (GXL, Sport, GTU, 91 coupe)
15x6.5 w/ 114.3x5 bolt pattern (convertible)
16x7 w/ 114.3x5 bolt pattern (Turbo, GTUs, Infini IV)

In addition please see below in this thread for stock wheel type and weight.

On the same vein, the stock tire sizes are:
14x5.5 = 185/70HR14
15x6 & 15x6.5 = 205/60VR15
16x7 = 205/55VR16

Definitely need to roll. Depending on offset, tire size, your ride height, et. you may need to do some pulling...

How much of a deal are you getting on those wheels? You sure it's totally worth it?

Edit - Just realized you posted offsets. Good chance you'll stick out past the fenders a tiny bit too.

8inch is the widest you can go without rolled fenders still may rub a bit depending on tires.
I'd say you could go up to 9inch with a serious fender pull.

so your front rims are ideal.
the rears won't work. will bind on control arm. you'd need a least a 3/4inch spacer and at that point your way beyond the fender.

go get some classic datsun flares and it'll work.

for anyone who wants to get the bright idea on opening another "will these rims fit thread"
you want a back space of 5inches give or take depending on your tire size. width depends on how much you want to modify. 8inch without a roll.

I hope you realize that an FC is a japanese car and you will dishonor mazda and all fc fans by putting 20" wheels on it... just my opinion...

its your car, you can do whatever you want.

If you're concerned about maintaining the accuracy of your speedometer/odometer, you might want to plug your planned tire sizes into this:

http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

A 245/25-R20 tire will be pretty close in overall diameter to stock.

Go 18s son. Theres a few here who rock 19s too but usually hide in the shadows, but the general mass here loves 16.

+1 16 is the new 20. :p

It just seems like too much work to make a 20 wheel fit well, and then you'll hit a pothole and bust a rim because your running on flats like a G.

I'm rocking the 17's and love it. just enough clearance for a brake upgrade but still enough rubber that the rotating inertia is nil and still has a forgiving sidewall.

I moved up from 15s to 16s on my 90 vert and was really pleased. Not much of a difference. I think if I do it again I'd go to 17s. But no bigger... just my 2 cents.
