They should.

RRTEC 01-15-04 10:54 AM

They look like old lady boobs........i would want to see them on the car...

Elysian 01-15-04 12:01 PM

yeah they remind me of boobs too, sideways floppy boobs

SpeedFreak03 01-15-04 02:14 PM

yea boobs lol but they might look cool

casio 01-15-04 02:19 PM

if it were an ink blot test, i would have failed. i saw peni. nothin against the mirrors, they just look like they should be covered in public. indecent exposure laws and all. you should paint them to look like boobs. i'd give ya props.

Fitness Stain 01-15-04 02:21 PM

anyone else wanna mention boobs real quick??

casio 01-15-04 02:27 PM

well, we coulda really been smart asses and repeated the subject:
JDM RX7 FC3S AERO MIRRORS RARE!!!!! NEW
if they dont fit, its just plain bad marketing.

its funny how 'JDM' is included in so many item's topics that really aren't jdm.
the seller has a good rating, but note they're coming from Japan (or that's just a ploy for more shipping money and that extra coolness [its really from Japan! why does the return address say kansas??..])
good luck either way.

NoPistons4Chris 01-15-04 03:19 PM

I feel the need to mention boobs

eViLRotor 01-15-04 03:23 PM

:titty:

Fitness Stain 01-15-04 03:28 PM

lol

yeah i could care less about the JDM thing
im just looking for some red side view mirrors for my TII, as the passenger side mirror is missing its glass....and they are both cracking and look shitty
and the price on these look good..

anyone used mirrors like these....i mean are these from a s5 or similar or what?

casio 01-15-04 03:32 PM

actually, i plan on getting rid of my driver's side. well, i don't plan to, but wouldn't miss it. i thought about it, then looked over at it (while driving) and realised i never use it. period. it felt weird looking at it. i don't know if the passenger one is required. for some reason i don't think it is, but as usual, i could be wrong.

Fitness Stain 01-15-04 03:35 PM

i think just the drivers side is required...
there are some civic hatchbacks i have seen that are stock that only have one side view mirror....the passenger side just isnt there, and the molding where it should be is complete so it wasnt taken off or knocked off....

go figure

daviddeep 01-15-04 04:46 PM

I guess some of you youngsters don't remember this, but back in the 70s and early 80s most cars didn't have passenger side view mirrors. My 1980 and 1985 GLCs didn't come with them, though I think you could order one for the '85. The base FBs from 79-80 have only the driver's side mirror too.

MMMCCCLXXXVI 01-15-04 04:50 PM

I think federal law says that you need two mirrors. Your choice. Either the rear view and a side or two sides.

Sideways7 01-15-04 04:53 PM

Just make sure the mirrors you get aren't concave (convex?) like passenger side ones. When my dad got his WRX, it had really small mirrors like that. It will totally screw you up when you drive it cause everything looks farther away.

kmags 01-15-04 06:36 PM

btw...if they really are JDM, then the alignment of the mirror will be wrong and you will have a hard time looking out of them. However, your passenger will be able to see nicely out of them.

casio 01-15-04 06:42 PM

they're aftermarket, so they'd be considered "j-spec" if anything. uhg, so many terms.
how would the alignment be off?
usually, for u.s. vehicles, passenger side is "obejects in mirror are closer.." whereas driver is normal. i don't know about right hand cars.

who is steve markum?

SpeedFreak03 01-15-04 07:04 PM

A lot of 80s cars only had a drivers side mirror, like my old 86 civic (LX i think) only had drivers mirror. Im not sure how the alignment would be off either...

I second or third or whatever that.

5 point whoa 01-15-04 07:12 PM

They should fit, if their for the fc, and they look like they'd fit

DAN CARWIN 01-16-04 02:07 PM

so would you consider them A cup or B cup? I had to be stupid........

RRTEC 01-17-04 01:23 AM

That would be a saggy C cup.....with a sunburn....

Kai 01-17-04 01:57 AM

My friends '92 Civic CX came stock with NO passenger side mirror, just a flat molding peice in its place. My '87 Civic Si has a passenger side mirror, it's all a matter of trim levels when it comes to Civics.

I personally couldn't live without a drivers side mirror, the passenger side I couldn't care less about.

Those mirrors do look pretty saggy.
