Will these 17x9 cobra rims fit?

hey guys,

I'm thinking about buying this bbs set of rims for a cobra for $500. First of all, good deal? and second, will they fit? i was thinking 275 out back, and 235-245 out front.

Rims are 17x9 ET28
anyone with experience with mustang rims/cobra rims specifically?

Thanks a million, here's a pic:

Well, seems like these rims wont fit on my car, I have tein coilovers, and the rubber is tight against the adjusting rings of the coilovers. They fit perfectly out back, completely flush with the body.

I will have these for sale now, they come with used 245/45/17s. Rims look real sharp tho, its a shame.

I think these would fit a FD nicely, or probably an FC without coilovers as previously mentioned.

Well, there's your problem. Those tires are too big for the front. Good looking rims anyway. When I had my 17's, I was running 205/40r17s up front and 215r4017s in the rear.

Yea the tires are definently the problem you could just sell em and buy some 215-40 and just stretch em on and be done with it

hey what is the rim off set? it should be on the back inside the rim. they should both fit on the back and not need spacers. if they are 35's they might fit? (never tried that offset) if the are 38's, then you will need to use a 5mm spacer on the front. and 245's will not fit. 235's will but you have to run the spacer.

I have cobra rims on my FC. they fit perfectly. I have 235s all the way around, with no spacers. I did have to roll the inner lip of the front left fender because it was digging into the side wall on hard right turns and large bumps. other than that, they are perfect. I really like how it fills the fender well. I have Suspension technics lowering springs and agx shocks. tires are different. a 235 from BFG might be narrower or wider than one say from Toyo. you never know until you mount them. Most people say you can't fit more than a 225 on the front of a lowered car unless you have coil overs. but there is some room to play. If you do run spacers, the tire will hit the fender.

Offset is +28 as stated in the original post.

Edit:
Thanks Tweaked, the Eibach Pro Kit springs are what worry me the most but I guess a spacer will fix that.
