will this set up give me 300 HP

my goal for my 87 TII is 300HP

im gonna run an aftermarket TID with cone filter and custom box
4x720 injectors
BNR stage 1 or 2
either a rtek 2.1 or a megasquirt
straight pipes to two mufflers

I am gonna run this with the stock intercooler and want to run 12 psi

will this create 300hp and will i need any other modifications( i know i will need a boost controller with the rtek)

any suggestions or opinions would be helpful

Yes, that should do around 300 if it doesn't blow up.

front mount. no fun having that much power with only a couple pulls before the intake temps are maxed out.

With a top mount, IATs actually drop off very quickly while moving. Heatsoak really only happens when sitting still for too long, which isn't going to be the case if you're out ripping around for an extended period of time. I've logged them dropping back to normal after a mere 10-15 seconds off the throttle.

I'd say so; a number of people have used a TMIC w/ hybrid turbos. If anything, the IATs could even be lower due to the increased thermal efficiency of the compressor wheel. The stock wheel isn't exactly efficient.

A front mount would be nice, and would allow a little more power, but it's not absolutely necessary. Especially with a "small" hybrid.

From what I know of it, the megasquirt is a pretty involved standalone. Not really for beginners. It'll have more capability than the Rtek, but the Rtek (which isn't a true standalone) will be much easier to learn/use.
