Will an S5 shifter boot panel fit on an S4?

I took my panel off the other day and found that the some of the plastic pegs (for retaining the boot) were broken off.

I have a new leather boot that's meant for an S5 (and would require some new holes to work with the S4). Unfortunately, because of the messed up plastic pegs I might need to get a new piece, do you think I could just upgrade to the entire S5 panel and not worry about modifying the nice leather boot?

I know Mazda changed the shape of the boot and the retainer, but did they change the shape of the panel (where it meets the dash) and it's 4 retaining clips? Anyone know where I can get my hands on a new panel (besides the old stealership)?

Thanks,
Bryan

It would fit it is just made out of a different material than the S4, the S5 one is more rubbery, and alot more durable. You can post a thread in the For sale section stating that you wanted to buy one. I did that and bought one in less than 15 min.

Yeah, their Is a horrible contrast to the different series panels when you line them up...If you are not for the entire s5 swap, why don't you just use a heavy-duty adhesive to bind the Boot to the now broken off peg area? Slop all the goo you want - no one will see It after you Install It.
