Will S5 Ignition work for S4?

Hey, i'm buying a key set from someone which includes, ignition, trunk lock, door locks, and stoarge bins. I was wondering if the wiring for the S5 to S4 were the same for the igntion. I currently have a ricer push start (bought it like that) and I want to convert it back to normal. How hard will this be?

someone probably knows... but i'd bet you can test the ignition switch without installing it fully. take off the steering column surround and plug it up to the harness if it matches your old one and give it a shot. i'd try that if no one responds with a definite answer.

If it's the ignition set I've got, then it's from a S4 Turbo 2.
