my S5 turbo blew its oil seals and i have a chance of purchasing an S4 turbo with exhaust manifold and heat shields for $150 now thing is will it bolt right in?? what are the pros and cons between both turbos? and im looking to boost around 13psi till i get my T04B and going to control boost with a Greddy Profec B Spec II boost controller. Anyways give me some info guys really need help with this..

AFAIK the s4 turbo should be a direct bolt in (or close to) but also as far as I know there is NO benefits of swapping from a s5 to an s4 turbo. Except maybe fewer speeding tickets due to being slowed down

 

yeah ... as the biggest benefit is a s4 motor with a s5 turbo ... i would just wait and ****** up a better turbo ... .or have the s4 turbo rebuilt/upgraded to actually be better

 

thing is my car is smoking real bad lose about half a quart of oil each time that turbo spools up... should i leave the car sitting which is gonna be hard and make the T04B conversion or what?? what are your opinions... im just looking to make around 260rwhp i got some minor upgrades not to many...

Man, thats expensive, I paid 150 for my S5 turbo w/ manifold. Most S4 turbos go for less than $100
