Will S4 4-piston calipers work on an 89 N/A?

I just pulled some S4 TII 4-piston calipers from my local Pick and Pull, and I need to know if they will directly replace the single calipers on my 89 N/A? (before I start removing stuff). And if not, which series will be a direct bolt in replacement?

absolutely amazing. 24 hours and no one has posted anything that even remotely resembles an answer. Not even an "I dont know". Maybe I'm the idiot for asking, but I thought this forum was for the purpose of asking questions, even stupid ones. I dont know, I guess I'm just venting. Maybe I should have put "noob" in the title. I'm loosing faith at an astronomical rate in here.

I believe they will bolt up correctly, but I am pretty sure the TII calipers have ABS so that might be a problem.

Don't have abs, well not all of them, and abs is on the hub. Because your n/a had single pistons I think it has smaller rotors, so you would need to change those along with the flex lines.

I have a 1990 GTU using s4 4 pistons, they bolt up fine even with the stock rotors.

Just make sure you have the hardlines coming from the calipers and the rubber line, or buy the t2 stainless steel braided brake lines and youll be fine.

if you do a little digging in the FAQ you would find your answer...

Use the FSM and parts catalogs to compare parts from years its easy to do and then you can learn something too...

its a direct swap, you stock rubber lines will bolt right to it. No need to change anything, just swap the caliper with new pads, bleed the system and your good to go.

Note: This is for S5 with singlepistons only!
