s5 na tranny plug magnetic?
i know the diff plug is magnetic but i was wondering if the tranny plug is. is not does any one know where i can get one that is? lke to know before i change the lube. oh yeah any good recomendations on tranny lube. i'm gonna go synthetic but cant figure out which. synchros getting old, need something to keep em smooth.

^^^ what he said. I use Redline MTL in the tranny... it kicks *** and is worth whatever steps it takes to get your hands on a few quarts of it (1.5 to fill it up now and a few more bottles for next time). Guaranteed to help make your tranny last longer, or at least grind less (which in my book is equivalent)...

I have a brand new Tranny Plug I have no use for. It's just sitting here. I was going to use It on my former s4 NA Tranny but It slipped my mind to replace It when I changed the Oil. If It's confirmed that there Is no difference b'n s4/s5 NA Tranny Drain Plugs, PM me, If you'd like, so I could send It to you.

thanks silverrotor but as long as the s5 plug is magnetic i'll be set. thanks guys. i just couldnt remember. im trying to go through all the things i need to do on my 7 before getting home (that means gettin the hell out of UF)
