found this FCD being sold on here, i asked the seller to send me pictures of the connectors (as i have no idea even where to put the fcd)
soo in a nut shell. fcd is stated by the seller to fit s4 will this work on a s5? and before i do commit to buy it. where does it go? so i can at least check if i have one already.

The FCD is like a little piggy back for your boost sensor. It's on the passenger side strut tower. One way you would know if you have a FCD is that you will hit fuel cut at boost levels higher than 9lbs or so
I don't believe it will work for both S4 and S5 since they make different versions.
Worst case scenario you can buy my KightSports FCD I have for sell, it's made for S5 =]
Edit: Here's an image of my engine bay with FCD installed

Don't use a fcd on stock ecu/tune. Your car will now run lean because you are tricking the computer into thinking there is less boost than there actually is. When you hit your physical maximum boost, your ecu will only add fuel for the oem maximum boost limit. See the issue? A FCD is not a magical box from ebay that will add horsepower. A fcd should only be used with proper fuel tuning.

i understand your point and appreciate your input. I was only considering putting one on as i have aftermarket exhaust. 3in dp from the turbo. and the rb rev2 mufflers. also intake filter. the only other mod is this piggyback apexi safc that is not configured at all.
Get the FCD and tune with the SAFC, done!

thank you.
thank you.
Take the advice given. Without throwing extra fuel into the mix, an open exhaust and an FCD will just let you exceed 8.6 psi (fuel cut level) and go lean/detonate. The stock ECU also has no additional timing pulled above 8-9 psi, so allowing boost to creep higher is a dangerous game to be playing.
An Rtek 1.x chipped ECU is the easiest/safest route to go with moderate modifications. There will be no false pressure signal going to the ECU as with FCDs. The SAFC can then be used to make minor fuel additions at higher boost. Large fuel adjustments with an SAFC also come with large unwanted timing changes.
