Will 890CC secondaries be OK in my car?

Looks like I'll be picking up some 890CC injectors to use as secondaries, and I was wondering a few things.

First off, with those in as secondaries, will there be a big hiccup when the car switches them on?

I'll be tuning with an SAFC, can it handle those secondaries alright?

Lastly, with those in and with a Walbro pump, will I just be flooding my car?

Currently the car has basic mods, exhaust with no cats, downpipe, FCD, EBC (high boost will probably be set to 10-11psi), SAFC, and an S5 turbo and manifold.

Eventually it will be a street ported motor with a T04B hybrid, so I'd like to get enough fuel to run that in the future.

Thoughts?

I don't think you need to go beyond stock injectors with what you have now. The 890CCs are definitely over kill.

I was kinda wondering about that, but I wanted to get something that would still be good once I go hybrid.

Last time the car was dynoed it dynoed 215RWHP on 8PSI. Since then I've switched to the S5 turbo, removed the cat, and am running the EBC to up the boost to 10-11 psi, and I was wanting to make sure I'd still be covered.

890CCs will cover you, but i'm not sure about using the stock ECU and SAFC-II with that. I've only heard of using 720s, but i could be wrong.

Anyone use larger then 890CCs and an SAFC?

Possibly, but if you play with the S-AFC's rpm points (specifically around the secondary transition point) you might be able to tune most of that out.

An S-AFC can be turned down to -50%, so in theory you could run four 1100cc/min injectors and still get stock mixtures (not that I'm suggested anyone actually try this).

Set all the corrections above 3800rpm to -24%, and that will give you approximate factory mixtures. It should run normally so you can get it onto a dyno and have it properly tuned.

Didn't we just talk about tuning...
