Will 89-91 Trim/Body Moulding fit on 86-88

Can someone tell me if 89-91 Trim/Body Moulding will fit on 86-88? Thanks. Any problems or complications?

I'm pretty sure it can be done with double sided tape. The only downside is that you'd have to get an 89-91 front and rear bumper so the moldings "match" all around.
