is 1000 a good price for an 86 with 120k original mi?

Ask them for the compression numbers on the engine. You should get 6 numbers back, 3 per rotor. After that, you can decide what to pay him.

Turbo IIs were not available in the US in 1986.

$1000 for that car would be amazing. I have seen T2s go more than that with more mileage and a blown motor.

Sounds too good to be true, so test the compression, etc etc and good luck!

I got one for a $1000.. It has a blown engine and won't go over 40mph but all in tact...They are out there just gotta be patient and keep looking
