Will a 3rd gen shifter fit in a 2nd gen?
I was wondering, cause I was thinking of picking up a B&M ripper. If they are different, how so?

I believe there was a post about puting 3rd gen shifters and Miata shifters in FC's and it cant be done wiht out modifying a lil bit.
I'm not TOTALY sure.

I have heard the 3rd gen tranny will fit though, but can't verify. I think you would need your own tranny mount if you went that route.
3rd gen tranny gets you the lower 5th gear ratio.
