I was wondering if a 3rd Gen fuel pump will work in a 2nd Gen. I was thinking of going to a TII but I got a 3rd Gen one for free. I have a N/A with Header, pre-silencer, and catback. I also have the intake moded. I pulled the plugs the other day and they did not have any carbon on them. They were really white looking. If they are white looking then that would me the car is running lean right? So would this pump work and help richen up the engine some? Thanks

 

ok then I will try it and see what happens. It is a 88 so we will see.

 

Well it in the car and the car runs so I guest it works. I have not drove the car anywere so I do not know if it made a difference or not. We will see and I will let you guys know tonight how it is. Thanks
