will 12a headers work on a 13b?

Hi, I have an 87 base model and I am wondering if headers for an 84 would fit on my car. Here is a picture of them. I dont need it to bolt up to the cat or downpipe, because a new pipe was welded in in place of the cats. Thanks

yes IF, you cut the centre of the flange and bend the pipes another 10mm or so apart a, a 13B has 8cm wide rotor housings where as a 12A only have 7cm wide ones.

Seems if you did that you'd want to reweld the plate somehow to regain the strength lost by cutting it.

Which '84? There were the SE's that had B engines.
