Everytime I have to park on an incline for an hour or more my car won't start. Any other time on flat surfaces it starts w/no problem.

I would think fuel pressure is not good but the Fuel pump is realivtively new (Bosch installed last May), and it did this before I replaced it too. Fuel filter I change every year whether it needs it or not (new one in Nov).

Any ideas?

is it when you are on incline or decline or just incline?

 

I park incline nose facing uphill. Never parked on decline (nose facing downslope)-not sure how it re-acts on that one. I'll see next time I wash it

 

an old joke goes something like this. Guy walks into a doctors office and says it hurts when I do this. the doctor thinks for a moment and says dont do that! So if you dont figure out the problem then just park on a decline instead.

 

I'm gonna try that next time. If it doesn't start at least i can try jumping it as it rolls downhill

 

How much gas is in the tank at the time? My car did this once when I was low on gas.
