wierd starting problem
well my starter selonoid went out, so i replaced it with a used one i had lying around. after the install it started right up, so i decided to go to wal-mart. after i got out the car started right, but when i got to the stop sign my idle started acting up and the car cut off, an did not start back up. luckily i was on a incline to where i could put it in reverse to start it back up.
well i thought better get a new selonoid so bought one yesterday and it comes in tommorow. but right before i started this thread i decided to check the push-on wire that goes to the selonoid. the wire was fine but i just wanted to try and start it to satisfy my curiousity. WOW it started, so i decided to try and figure out my idle problems. but it got warm and the idle got to low and it cut off. so i went to start it back up and it just did the same thing like when the selonoid was bad. what would cause a car to start cold but not warm
DAMNIT just relized when i was writing that this car has a warm start thing-a-ma-jig. how do u check it? and would this cause it?
