ok, this just started happening in the past two days driving around the city. i havent tried any solutions yet and am just seeing if anyone knows what i am talking about and what the possible problem could be.

ok; while light driving the car accelerates fine, but when i decide to give it more gas than normal or really step on it, i get pusling. its not the clutch, the engine just dies for bout half a second. its really bad in first, and only noticible in second gear if im really punching the throttle. my only guess is a problem with fuel delivery, i have half a tank so i know its not cuz im low, and my car has a history of blowing fuel pumps based on reciepts from the previous owner. ive got a few other things to try but i was just trying to see if anyone has had this problem before and what their particular problem/solution was.

You told us the symptoms, but you didn't tell us ANYTHING about what you've done to fix the problem. We need more information, when was the last FULL COMPLETE tuneup including plugs, wires, hoses, TPS full adjustment, etc.. ? When did you change the fuel filter last?

Have you checked for vacuum leaks? Those are the first things to work through before going deeper into troubleshooting.

Download the factor service manual and go through the tuneup & troubleshooting procedures for hesitation / power issues:

well, like i said, i havent tried anything yet, i was just trying to get some info in case my troubleshooting doesn't work. what i should have mentioned was that the car was running picture perfect 3 days ago. the problem started yesterday, and persists even more today. im really trying to see if anyone else has had the same problem and if they could offer some advice.
