Wideband O2 Sensor

Does anyone know if this is a wideband O2 sensor, and if it will bolt into the stock location? Where is the stock location on an 87 TII?
thanks

Neither of the ones shown are wideband. The three wire is heated, but still not wideband. Your ECU cannot read the data from a wideband O2 sensor, so getting one and thinking it will work will not be correct.

You *can* get a wideband controller and take the output from that and send it to your ECU... which is what I am doing. I am using the Tech Edge wbo2 sensor controller with the display for tuning, and using the synthesized narrowband output to send to my ECU so I know exactly what the ECU is seeing at any given point in time. You can check those beauties out at http://www.wbo2.com. I'm using the 7057 Bosch LSU sensor which runs about $36 with shipping from the link provided on their page. The whole unit in kit form is about $250 shipped, not counting the sensor.

IF you do go that route, the stock location is TOO HOT for the wbo2 and WILL fry it. Mount the wideband back right before the catalytic converter, within 10 degrees of vertical.

The stock location on all TIIs is in the downpipe, moderately visible from the engine bay.

Edit: whoops on the url...
