wide band question

i have an lc-1 . its awesome. but. i am running the log works program and it is showing 700 threw 800 when my car is off and sensor is on. no idea why . its off the chart.
i hooked it up . but i havent turned the car on yet. i am not taking it out tonight. but i was just making sure the program worked and my serial port to usb adapter cable worked for the program
i have the lc-1 hooked to the addapter and hooked into the usb port. program recognizes it fine as com6.
i am reading the manual for the program. its a bit more confusing then the manual for the lc-1 itself.
so is there a quick fix to this issue of it being really j umpy between 700-800 a/f when car is off and sensor is on?

note: lc-1 is on, car is not running. warm up sequence was finished. sensor is warmed up, left on only long enought to show that i was connected and showing data to computer. sensor turned off after 5 min or less.

note : running windows vista

the sensor is calibrated yes. but i am not sure if theres a way to calibrate the logworks program. i can re-calibrate it. i am getting no error signals from the lc-1.
when its connected to the computer it slowly blinks in no error code pattern..

i followed all exact instructions when installing the sensor and calibrating it open air.

edit. i recalibrated 3 times till it finaly stayed at 20.8%

not real sure if this is acurate. or if i need to really do it "open air" cuz the car has been off for more then a day. and the ratio is steady at 20.7% 20.8%

problem now is that it wont show the needle..................

20 sounds about right after calibration. once the car starts it should read fine. the needle "LED sweep" will work also.
