Selling the engine .... need advice

Alright guys .. i've decided to part ways with my beloved rx7 parts and not swap them into another car.

It has the following modifications: Streetported, S5 Turbo (jspec i think), RacingBeat oilsender (or whatever its called). It only has 3000 miles on the rebuild, with brand new seals. Compression is 85-90ish last I checked it a month ago, and the car ran/runs great.

Anyway can you guys help me out with some questions

1. When selling a 13BT, what all do I include with it? If its a shortblock, longblock, entire thing, etc?
2. Which method would net me the most money?
3. I need to figure out a good asking price on my engine .... so prices for what i mentioned before ... shortblock, longblock, entire thing, etc.

Thanks guys

Given that it wasn't professionally built and still has marginal compression, I'd say $600-1000 is a fair price for it. Sure, it shouldn't break for a long time, but it is not a really tight motor either, knowing who built it.

Your best bet is probably to sell piece by piece...intake manifolds w/TB, turbo w/mani, injectors, etc. However if you find a local buyer wanting it all then I'd probably make a deal with them and let it go, especially given that you may not feel like wrenching much in the next few days/weeks.

def not ... so if I sell it "with everything" what exactly do I include? I've always been lost on what to include on it.

Also what should I sell just the keg for?

My definition: http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/2n..._ls_block.html

For shortblock I'd say $600-1000, for longblock I'd say $900-1300.
