ok if the guy wants to have flames let him, dude plus teh flames are't like the f&f if u want to think like that then it's up to you, and if he wants to have flames then he does not care or give a fuc* about other people he just want to have flames, the best way to do this is to port ur engine and if u don't have money for that just get a spark plug and stick it by ur exhaust, the side with the electroid or whatever it's called, get a copper one, u have to drill a hole in ur exhaust to get it in, it should work by the place before the cat stars, aight peace. and if u want to flame me lol get it go ahead, but i kow more **** that yu if u flame me lol, i got this tip from 7stock, yes alot of n/a's do it all the time, but it's because they have ported and all kinds of mods in there engine, or all so just buy a flame kit, if u really want that, ok i hate this treads, but ok latz

If someones within 3 feet of my bumper at 70mph, they damn well deserve what they get. And considering they aren't random and don't just shoot out at anybody, I don't quite see the point in that arguement.

seriously, if someone is close enough to your car for it to matter then they DO deserve it!

Well I really don't know ANYTHING about turbo setups, thats not my department, but I would think that increased port timming, which is the equivalent to duration in a piston engine would cause more flame. Also a ported waste gate would probably help blow more of the hotter exhaust gasses down the pipe. Of course a glow plug in your down pipe would probably help too. a smaller down pipe would create more pressure and heat in the area. perhaps thermal wrap on your current pipe is an idea as well. My N/A blows small fire on hard shifts above 7,000, or so I'm told. I can't see em.

Well flames will be much longer than 3, especially with open exhaust. And besides flames are illegal, so I dont quite see the point in that arguement.

So if your kid was playing in the street, and some car 'accidently' blew flames at him/her, then your kid would deserve it? i didnt think so.

Anyone who blows flames in their driveway other than for videotape purposes and doesn't check to make sure all is clear behind them is a douchebag and needs to have a melted bumper/car/face. If you mean someone was driving on the street and blew flames at your kid, I'd say that you have some very athletically talented kid that can somehow keep up with a car accelerating to the top of first gear. Popping flames isn't bad, and you shouldn't go out of your way to either make or eliminate them. If they happen, cool, if they don't, too bad.

Well you are very lucky you live in a douchebag-less town. And flames just dont happen at the top of 1st gear

You obviously have little to no experience with shooting flames on an RX-7. To shoot a 3 foot flame you have to be doing about 60+mph, at idle it's damn near impossible to get anything over 1 foot. And if there's a kid near enough to your car as you're driving by, you're going to hit them. You can argue all you want, the only thing it does is make a loud noise, it hurts NOTHING.

Lets consider. On an N/A with open exhaust, to shoot anything over a 6" flame you must redline, so either you pop the clutch while you're moving and rev the **** out of it, and shoot a 2-3 foot flame, which lasts all of 10 miliseconds. Now, for a kid to be 'hurt' by this, not only would they have to be DIRECTLY behind the car (wtf is a kid doing BEHIND my car WHILE i'm moving withing 3 feet?), but given the short ammount of time the flame lives, it's not going to do much anyway. Between shift flames? Even less, and the same as above applies. Now, as far as this melted bumper/face/etc ****, you guys are ******* smoking something if you think that without plugs/s-afc tuned to pour gas out your exhaust you're going to melt anything, because that flame sure the **** doesn't stick around long enough to do any damage.
