You can buy new window regulators from Mazda for only a small fee of around $149.00 each. they go bad as your car ages.

Little bit of that graphite powder on the guides might help out some. And if the window is not balanced properly it will move slow. Take off the door panel and make sure all of the components are in good working order. Sometimes the window will lean to one side and drag, which will slow it down.

Use graphite powder or lithium grease on the window tracks. Most likely the problem. Or someone put normal grease on the tracks (attracts a lot of dirt)

try to lube up the weather strip that the window must travel through. Use any silicon based liquid.

Despite all the earlier posts, the majority of the time when the windows roll up slow is because of the switches being worn or dirty.

Pop open the switches and clean the black crap off of the contacts and you'll be amazed at how much faster the windows move when you try and roll them up or down.

There should be no need of lubing the rubber guides for the windows, and only occasionally (like once in every ten years) lubing the regulator track. If they actually do need lubing chances are that they need to be cleaned more than lubed.

I don't mean to jump into your post here, but since everyone helps you out so nicely I figured I'd ask here...

My window doesn't go up at all, is it just that I need a new regulator, or is it off it's track? It goes down fine, but I need to yank it up while I'm holding the switch. I can hear the motor spinning when I press the button, but no love on the upside.... but my passenger side is fine, a lil slow but fine... I took apart my door once but I didn't know what I was looking for, everything seemed intact.
