I've gota four lugger to, so dont feel too bad. It was just a base option.

I think the stock 4-lug 5spoke wheels look bad ***, but I hate not having the options of the 5lug, which was why I bought a junk gtu and HAD all the rims/hubs and suspenson till my dad had the front suspension towed with the car shell.

My first FC was 4 lug Nothing wrong with that. You just have a base model or something.

No phone dials on my rex. I like touchtones better. I actually hav a set of factory 5-spokes.

those arent factory mazda wheels...I have a four lug too...yea, it means base model but also means light weight dont believe what u hear either, a mildly tweaked four lug brake system is more than enough for street and some track use. stainless lines, healthy rotors and calipers, some nice pads (hawks have been great) and some good fluid (I run that blue stuff we use in our ITS BMW). The only problem is when the pads are cold they dont bite as well but after a couple of minutes of driving they build up the necessary heat. Then just get ridda those phone dial rims (some nice 16X8 or 17X7.5) and you're golden hehe

Jon--you sure those aren't factory. I was pretty positive they are, but I just might check now. Either way, I love the way they look, for 4-lugs

Well I have a 88 GTU and a 88 SE.

I like the GTU more but I still liked my SE.
My SE has Black Phone dials. Did they come black stock?

Here's some pics.
