why isnt my car loud anymore?

my car used to be so loud it wasnt even funny. now i can barely hear the damn exhaust. i have a Mindtrain header, Bonez cat, and Apexi Dunk single with 2.5" piping from the cat back. i noticed this only recently when i started having cooling probs cause of a bad coolant filler cap, the car over heated a couple times, i got everything cooling wise fixed and now i am having vacuum line probs with it now, which is getting fixed this weekend with hose techniques SVH. does anyone know why my car is not loud any more?? please help.

Did you lose a lot of power? Your car or muffler or both are probably clogged.

Maybe you've gone deaf from all that loud azz rotary exhaust. Have you noticed that your gf doesn't annoy you as much as before? It could be related...

Hows your air filter? If that is gunked up its not going to suck in the same amount of air as before. But ya you might be getting used to it.

Hmm...My car got quiet for a while and then I heard a "POP!" and it suddenly got louder. I took the exhaust of and found that the first pre-cat had clogged, melted and then sucked through, making a mess on the seond pre-cat.
I'd pull that cat and see if it's clean.
