Exclamation Why hasn't my car blown up?

I bought the car used with most of the mods already done to it. I didn't talk to the previous owner, so I'm not really sure what all was done to it. I know that it has a K&N cone filter, 3" exhaust from the downpipe back, and a racing beat FCD. I've been driving it since August and have regularly seen 10psi of boost and it has creeped up to 13psi while hauling some serious *** on the highway (140 sustained) Anyway, my A/F gauge has never shown a lean condition during these levels of boost, so I always assumed I had a higher flowing fuel pump and probably bigger injectors. Well yesterday I finally checked out the pump and found that it is a Mazda pump!
If this is the factory pump, shouldn't my engine have been long gone. Until I figure out what's up and put in a higher flowing pump, I'm going to back off, but I don't understand how it has lasted this long. It's got 71K miles with 10K on the new engine. I've had it since 0 miles on the engine. Since my sig isn't showing, the car is a '87 TII. I've listed all the mods I know of above, except the greddy blow-off valve.
Anyone have a theory?

maybe you can contact the original owner and ask him about the car. i did that for a few things on my car after buying it.

Check the part number, could be a fd or cosmo pump.

That's funny. Google probably also has the answer to which apex seal is best!

Despite what everyone says, the 13BT is a very robust engine that takes a lot of abuse.

What's the average life span of a 13BT driven daily under normal wear and tear?

A Turboii running 10psi with a stock fuel pump and stock injectors, still runs RICH. It'll run in the mid 10afr and the low , low, 11afr.
