Your still not helping very much here.

We need some real tangible information if someone is going to help you determine your issue.

Because the stock tires and suspension are not rated for high speed.

Uh, because its fun

120mph should be 5-6000rpm in 4th, did it just start slowing down? You didn't shift to 5th did you? 4th redlines at ~137, you really need to wind out 4th to top the car out. I did it twice on stock suspension so thats not a problem at all, it actually feels a lot more stable until you have to make a lane change. If its really only hitting 120mph in 4th then I'd check aux ports, TPS, vacuum leak, timing, etc. Look in the FSM.

i got clocked at 147 in my vert and that was redline... but my vert had suspension, tires... TIRES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... and engine mods... plus i think verts are geared different than coupes....

on stock suspension and tires u are playin with fire... normal tires arent rated pasted 85... and a lot of performance tires arent even rated to 120... if a belt seperates on ur tire at 120... u are pretty much dead... so u psycho's drivin crazy on stock cars... please please please stay out of my end of town... i got enough problems without one of u crazies takin me out lol...

oh... and if ur lookin to break 120... ur car needs to be running pretty well perfect, so make sure ur ports are opening... and u have ALOT of road, cause it will take a lil while to get there once u break around 110ish... and stay in 4th

My S4 can hit 125 with the headlights up. Check and make sure your VDI is working right...

dunno... are u redlining it? You gotta know when to shift so you can take it up to optimum speeds.

Other excuses could be tire tread and weight. But honestly, the car might just be old, probably just doesn't have the pep in its step that it used to have 20 years ago...

i dunno why you guys think you need to redline it in every gear to get up to speed like that, you can putt through every gear if you wanted to it's just gonna take longer. at 100+mph drag starts to take effect but thats not really an issue until you hit 140 or so then you'd need more hp to go faster. but if he's not making it to 120 i'd say theres something wrong with his car.

This thread is failing terribly.

First of all...STOP driving like a complete psycho riced out punk on public highways of any kind!

Second, I also would suggest checking your Aux. Intake Ports for correct functionality. Your top end power rests on those.

Third, are your tires even rated to go that fast? If not, you're pushing your luck.

Fourth....well actually...I'm done with this conversation. Please do not post such trash in the technical section.

Well, this is 35 seconds of my life that I wish I could get back.
