why does my horn go beep?

Hi,
my horn goes off by itself and I have no idea why.
At first I thought it was because of my aftermarket steering wheel horn so I took it out but it doesnt seem to be the case

I think it is because of my cheap steering wheel hub I got off ebay. I think it is making a contact somewhere since it only happens when I turn.

What do you guys think? I should buy a new hub?

Is the hub metal? If so, just put a layer of tape or something nonconductive on it and see if that helps.

is this the horn contact? Right now that switch is pushed down and stuck.

I dont think the hub has a horn pick up, it'd made of metal tho

thank you!

Yes that is the pick up. On a stock wheel, that slides against the back of the steering wheel on a contact, and when you puch the horn button it grounds the contact (which is touching the pickup and sends the ground to the horn relay in the CPU).

If the pick up gets grounded the horn will honk.
