Why does my ADD COOLANT buzzer go off when I stop?

I have just replaced my thermostat, water pump, and radiator cap. I have aftermarket gauges so i can see the temp and even while the buzzer is going off i'm not getting hot, and it seems that it goes off only when i stop. Do i have a pinhole leak in my radiator on top causing it to come out when level. Do i have bubbles or air in system? Thanks

needs to be bled further. use the bleed screw on the radiator, burp it with the upper hose.

After filling leave the filler cap off and warm the engine up until the thermostat opens and coolant is flowing through the radiator. Make sure the heater is fully on as well. Let it idle until no more bubbles are appearing in the filler, then replace the cap.

+1 Just did this over the weekend. However, it idled for 15 minutes or so, heat on high, no problem. Drove out of the garage and up a hill and I got buzzed at. Parked the car, took the rad cap off, poured in some coolant, started it up, turned the heat on and added more coolant. Full as full can be now.

So is the radiator full when you get the Low Coolant buzzer? I have heard of many cars having leaks at the heater hose on the driverside at the engine fitting. This is almost undetected without close observation.

If the Low Coolant buzzer goes off why would you think your coolant is full? I think the answer to your question is quite obvious.

I wanted to clarify the actual coolant levels. The coolant level sensor sticks down in top of the radiator and detects continuity to ground when touching coolant. If the coolant level is good then he could have an open circuit.

Check the wiring for that sensor.
I had a crack on the wiring insulation and every time it touch metal the buzzer would short

just a thought.

i took it for a ride and i noticed that at stops or low rpms the buzzer goes off, and when i returned my overflow tank was full and air bubbles coming out of the overflow tank down tube. making bubbles in the overflow tank.
