Why do I still have cold start up?

I did the throttle body mod and the engine still holds the rpms up when it is cold. I thought the T-body mod eliminated this, don't get me wrong I like the cold assistence but I'm thinking I did something wrong. The throttle body has no secondary plates and no coolant running to it. I can't see what i would have disconnected that might have controlled the cold start assist system but I swear I had read other posts about people loosing the feature when doing this mod.
