I was looking at the rx7store for an intake system for the FC and came across the Blitx intake kit. It looked nice, but I noticed it was "for offroad use only". Why is that? Also, does anybody have a pic of this intake kit on their FC?

To protect the seller from the law. It's illegal to do most mods which can affect emissions.

They havn't tested it and submitted to CARB that it adds zero additional emissions.

Hey, when you put it on your car tell me how it sounds, I hear it makes a distinct whistling.

The whistling is air being sucked into the turbo. The stock airbox muffles this sound, a pod filter does not.
