26x8.5 slick out back on a 15x8" rim will be fine. You are only running 106mph so you aren't making a massive amount of power yet. You may as well just get Nitto DR's so you can use them in all weather conditions ie rain.
Will you be racing on these tires at a track only or also some street action? If on the Street get the Nittos. 245/50/16's work well and fit a stock 15x7 T2 rim.
Nittos like about 18psi cold and a huge burnout until the smoke comes out the wheelwells. I've gone 1.71 60ft with them and high 11's@114mph.

well i might as well keep my 255's and just let alot of air out. But i've heard of people putting slicks on n/a's and it dropping there time alot. I didn't think it had that much to do with how much power you had. Sure the more power you have the more helpful it would be.
