Whoo hoo she Idles again!
Ok if anyone has been following my problems with my rex, then you know how frustrated I was with my Idle. The car would not Idle to save it's own ***! If I turned on the heater or the head lamps the car would sputter and die.I did everything I could to get the engine to Idle as close to 750 as possible, nothing I tried worked.I replaced all vac hoses, all gaskets, all injectors and grommets, clamped every hose tight to the BAC and diffusion chamber, replaced FPR,TPS,.I even installed a new batt and alt...nothing still lumpy and died when I turned on the lights.I then replaced the transistor in the ECU for the bac in my spare computer...nothing still lumpy and dies when you turn on the head lights.I then replace the BAC with one from my parts car...nothing still lumpy and dies when you turn on the head lights.I then grounded everything...still lumpy..Well today I wanted to replace my fuel pump "last ditch effort" guess what? The car will Idle with everything on!! The Idle is still not as smooth as I would like it but hey it's running...take a look at my fuel pump pic and you'll get and idea of why the car ran like ***.
