Do you think an N/A FC can stand up to an S2000 in the twisties. Better yet on a track?

What do you think? Who wants to see a video of the duel?

Llew.

Yo,

I bet you could hang! I've done it against Z06's, 996 TT, modded WRX, at Thunderhill!

He'll probably get you in the straight, but in the corners...woo!

Paul (silkworm) took down a Lotus Esprit on a track, in one of his vids. He drives an S4 NA with an S5 Na engine, and has some track mods.

We all know FCs have great handling and dynamic characteristics. However, let's be realistic, RarestRX is probably a better driver than the people he was racing against. I'm quiet convince from Silkworm's videos that most of the known fast cars he passes are due to his supperior skill.

I think a TII can hang with a S2K or even beat it on the track. Assuming drivers with equal ability.

A TII or a modded NA should be able to hang with a S2K on any track or autocross..

people STILL don't realize that HP does NOT EQUAL CORNERING ABILITY! wtf!

I'd take on that mustang ANY DAY in a 70HP lotus europa, or a mildly modded FB. Or my TII. Or a GTUs. Or one of about a thousand cars I can think of, that will outhandle that in an instant. I'm no michael shumacer, but I'll still run circles around just about any mustang in any of the cars listed above.

Did you see that C&D review with the RX-8, SVT Cobra and G35? It was within a second on the track. I'd hazard to guess that since the RX-8 would be more difficult to exploit that you could get more out of it. An FD with a meatier power band should be able to take the Cobra.

not too shabby, looks like it'd come down to driver more than anything else. looks like braking is in your favor, the s2000 seems to come out of corners much better than the rx7, and overall i think, with a wider track, he could've passed the fc. what mods, if any, did the cars have on them? i think a TII with a little weight redux would do much better.

Llew, Whats with the $100 event fees this year? St Cloud track is in my back yard but that entrance fee would kill me.

Jimmy325i That is only the limited test day. The fees are $60. $5 more because the insurance companies jack our rates. I'll try to make that more clear.

Did you like the vid?
