I'll rephrase then. Both you and the original poster have misinterpreted the product. It's not a bypass valve. They don't call it a bypss valve. It can't be used as a bypass valve. Get it?

The link posted by Project84 is a bypass valve. Ther pic above is also of a bypass valve, but a nasty old POS one...

the aluminum design of the ebay one also tends to make me think it will not last very long in one of these cars. remember our cars are not only noisey, they run extremely hot underneath.
