now that you mention it, i'v been looking at the e11 for the last few days, i got a check from ovi for christmas so it makes my grand total 1150!!!!!!!! i don't have far to go!, im worried about tuning it though, i have no idea where a dyno is around here and no idea how im gunna get it there, i emailed hitman with the same question asking him if he knows what i could do. i figgure that after i get the e11 then i'll start saving up for the RE, and then the greedy intercooler... it's gunna be so bad a*s

fc3s.org says that they ship the engines with the intercoolers, but they also say that it's pretty much the luck of the draw with engines so do they always have the stock intercoolers? or do they most of the time come with them? i would like to at least get the car running when i get the motor and then upgrade the intercooler, fuelpump and trany as i go.... also whats a good clutch to get? since clutches are relitivly cheep compared to moct of the other things i have to buy, i want somthing realy strong and that will also last after a few 5000rpm launches so in other words somthing barely streetable

I don't see why you guys are drooling over the E11 for 2 rotors.
E6K or any other comparable standalone will work fine for a 2 rotor. The only disadvantage is that the E11 and Power FC are the only two that can control the OMP (Oil Metering Pump).
The HalWin software is awesome and all, but inputing numbers is inputing numbers, but I think the HalWin (E11 only right now) has some 3d features that the old software/haltechs didn't
But if you want a high performance engine, you should just pre-mix anyways.

Hopefully when the E6K will take get a nice price break once the E11 has been out for a while.

On the intercoolers are included comment. He might mean only on 13BT Engines (Turbo II engine).
The BT has a top mounted intercooler (sits directly on top of the intake manifold). The other turbocharged rotaries (except for older 12a turbos which wheren't intercooled) have their intercoolers front/slantmounted like the FD. I don't think the Cosmos have them mounted just like that, but they are not very close to the engine.
But thats just my best guess on this, Dave from FC3S.org could answer this best.

Node, how many E6K's have you tuned? How many E11's?
How many Turbo cars have you performed mods on?

Please don't just regurgitate information that YOU have NO first hand experience with. When you have built a TII with a standalone succesfully, please come back and expound your knowledge to us.

Plenty of sensor inputs, support for OMP (ridding completely of the stock ECU and any need for blocking off and premixing), and more functions...

The intercoolers don't come with the 13B-RE's but they do come with the 13BT's almost always.

Hey banzai, how many E11's have you tuned? Didn't think so dick.
He looked like he was trying to save money whereever he could. E11 is going to run about $1500 I think but I'm not positive on that. E6K's run about $500 less give or take. Also OMP isn't that huge if you're on a standalone because you "should" be premixing for the sake of your high HP motor.
Also an E6K will run a motor great. Tons of people use them. Unless theres something that only the E11 has for the two rotor that you want, or you just want the newest out. Then the E11 isn't necessary.

I agree with Node. 99% of the people on this forum would not be able to tune an E11 any better than an E6K. What other inputs do you truely need for creating and advanced ignition or fuel map?

The only reason you would truely need it is if you had run out of outputs, or you did not want to premix at all. Premixing is simple because you do it when you are fueling your vehicle. Put the bottle in the tank and walk over and pay while it is emptying. Then fill up with fuel.

How many cars have you guys tuned with the E6K and with the E11?

Node, I have not tuned any...yet, that is why I am not running off at the mouth just regurgitating information that is already out there. If people where satisfied with the current state of the art we would all still be driving Model-T's. Innovation and refinement advances technology. And the more E11's that are sold will ultimately(hopefully) drive down the cost of the E6K

You give me crap for not installing or tunning an E6K yet you haven't?
Seriously, shut up and never reply to another one of my posts again. You're making a serious *** out of yourself.

Uhh, I've helped lots of people and I haven't done much myself.
You can't just tell me not to tell people stuff because I haven't done it first hand. This forum would have maybe a handful of people who have done real work on rotaries (rebuilding, porting, custom exhaust manifolds and tuning).
Other than that we would just have a bunch of people suggesting tuners.

Yes I was a little preachy but an E11 isn't necessary at all. It's just new and like everything new has its frills, but doesn't change my point that the E6K is still a VERY capable EFI system.

No-one ever said the E6K wasn't capable, and it is probably what I am buying next yeaar. But the new software is supposed to be better, I'll let the Hitman decide what is best suited to my needs and budget and tuning capabilities.

i have that setup, 13B-RE, with twin-turbos running the GReddy intercooler. Im going to run the powerFC because i need something to control the sequentials. I got my E6K for the yellow car from K2RD. I also bought the plug in harness adapter to use the stock harness. PM me if you need anything.
