Who makes good CAI's for the FC for a decent price?

I've looked on www.rx7.com (Rotary Performance) and all they sell for N/A's is the filter and adapter. I want an actual cold air intake with the hardpipe and filter but can't find one. My brother told me that the K&N Typhoon was about $350 so thats out of the question. I just need a little more power on a low budget so if anyone knows of a place that sells good N/A FC CAI's, I would really appreciate it if you post a link.

BTW: I really like the AEM V2 and Iceman peices so if they exist for this application I'd like to know because I suck at the internet and can't find crap.

I've got the one from Rotary performance, had it for a while, very noticeable top-end performance increases, not much in the lower ranges though. CAI's are overrated- you still have to deal with the heat-soaked upper and lower manifolds to get the air to the engine, what's the point of just "insulating" the first 1/3 of the intake ducting? As long as you install some form of baffling for the cone filter, so you're not sucking in primarily the engine bay air, and allow some form of ingress for the outside air to get to the filter, you've accomplished your goals...And you don't need a bunch of fancy ducting to accomplish that...

seems the 92-ish prelude intake is pretty well-suited, and pretty cheap eBay wise

K&N Universal Filter - $45

Hose Clamp - $2

Not spending way too much money and doing something yourself - priceless

I never dyno'ed mine. lol I did do magnehelic and temp tests though. Both tests indicated my CAI was superior to the stock crap.

If there is interest I am willing to make some otherwise make your own.

most likely i will only make one for the fc though. i am the kind of guy that believes i can make more money selling things cheapely than everyone else. if they are making a $50 profit i will be fine with 25 or so. sell more that way and make more eventually
