Must...scrub...parts...
Open the cover of the fusebox on the battery side of the engine bay. take out the innermost fuse, says egi on the box cover. get in car, hold gas pedal to floor and crank for 15-20 seconds, car will not start. put the fuse back in and crank normally for 15-10 seconds. do not touch the gas pedal. if the car starts it will smoke badly for several minutes so try to do this in a ventilated area. if it doesnt work, wait 5 minutes and try again

plugs drenched in fuel?... hate to see what your keyboard looks like, ne ways. dry them off with a rag.. then set them aside, pull all the damn fuses you can then, or just look on the fuse cover, it should say, i dont know from the top of my head though. and with the plugs out, fuses out, PUSH THE GAS PEDAL and crank it like a mother.... put the (dry) plugs in and fuses back where they belong DONT! hit the gas.. and crank away

Pull the EGI injector (you are trying to stop fuel flow) or both. Then the reason for flooring gas pedal is to open throttle plates to allow more airflow when clearing out the gas. Sometimes when its really flooded you must put a little oil in each rotor housing to get more compression as all the fuel has dilluted the oil around the seals. Put everything back together and crank it w/ a fresh battery or jumper cables to keep the cranking speed up. If your tachometer doesn't work once you start it, don't panic it will work again next time you start it (I think its just if you pulled EGI ignition relay anyways)
The search button is very top right on the screen.

if those still dont work.... try this!
put everything back (yes all plugs and fuses and wires), go into ur car, look under to the right of the steering colum u will find a white (i think) 6 pin plug. pull it out, crank it 15-20 sec, plug it back and crank and then............. TADA! u got rotary power!
ps, ur cars gonna smoke like hell!

If you are sure you have fuel, spark, air and compression you can only keep at it. The oil/ATF in spark plug holes is a delicate issue. Sometimes its needed to gain compression, but it can also foul the plugs and give you a weak spark. I think the strong battery/ jumped off running car really helps as it builds compression by spinning motor faster and gives spark plugs some power.
The absolute last ditch thing is to pull start the car w/ another car. This can be dangerous, but if you crank it over in a higher gear while being towed w/ it really speeds up the cranking. Be careful doing anything when tired/frustrated. Good luck and good night :-)

good to see all the help from the forum. but i thought you only need to pull the egi comp fuse and crank for 20 seconds, put it back in and fire it up. Thats what has always worked for me. When i was travelling through the mountains last year i stopped for some food, went back to my car and it wouldn't start, i guess the different elevation mucked with my computer, I thought for a few minute that I was stuck 3 provinces away from home in the middle of Roger's pass. Did the fuse trick after i stopped freaking out and cursing and she started right back up. Praise the lord he loves rex7's.
