Who Know Where The Fuel Pump Is

i want to unflood my car to get it started...where is the fuel pump....btw, i do not have a hayes manual or i would not be asking

Its in the fuel tank, look under the rear carpet and you will see a small plate that is screwed down, remove that, and then you see some hoses on top of the fuel tank remove that plate and there is the fuel pump attached

got it....and removed it....how do you UNFLOOD a flooded 88 rx-7

you can just let it sit, or rig up some sort of fuel pump cut off switch. Normaly when mine starts doing this i replace the plugs,

uhh...dont forget to unplug the fuel pumps wiring harness and cranking it over a couple of times before taking off any hoses or you'll be bathed in fuel
