Were you at Sevenstock 6? I swore I would have remembered seeing your car.

I was at 7Stock, but they wouldn't let me into the main lot because my turbo was too small.

I had fun showing it off at RB on Sunday, though!

I remember you said you wanted to get a rock solid 300HP out of your car, have you accomplished that goal?

No dyno yet so I will try to refrain from bragging and looking like an *** later. 3rd gear traction IS limited...

Anyways, right now the car has 0 HP as I had to pull the engine after I cracked its '89 rear plate w/ high RPM detonation.

Detonation story -
I had that ~7,000rpm stumble that I could not figure out. One late night I woke up w/ a start (judgement imapaired from being tired)- maybe it is 100% duty cycle on my 720cc/1600cc injectors. Sure enough the maps showed 100% duty cycle. So I leaned it out so 100% duty cycle was at 8,000rpm and the stumble was GONE- pulled clean to 8,000rpm in the 1st-3rd I tried.

There was a trail of oil into my garage when I parked and it was comming out between the rear rotor housing and endplate in the "usual" spot where the tension bolt stresses the endplate and it cracks into the oil galley when high rpm detonation distorts the rotor housing. Still had good oil level and great compression.

I suspect the Walbro pump could not support the flow at the high pressures from the RRFPR- those injectors are good for ~650hp after all.

BLUE TII will be running again relatively soon w/ a nice fuel system! And I will go to a larger "P" trim exhaust wheel in the stock hybrid turbo as I had boost creep pretty bad again once I could rev over 7,000rpm.

Once I get BLUE TII running again I promise my sig will be a huge flame from my exhaust igniting a $100 bill I am holding.

I am sure you have said this somewhere, but I will ask again. What made you decide to go V-Mount?

I bought OPTION VIDEO #92 where they follow the RE Amemiya build-up of the white FC2000.

There is another Yellow Panspeed FC in that video that is H-mount/V-mount? and even faster than RE Amemiya FC.

Anyways, those 2 sub 500hp FCs posted faster lap times than NSXs and a 900hp Skyline and just about eveything else on the track.

I began to think...

It looks alright...... for a totally perfect, clean enough to eat, off of fast as hell looking, totally reworked car...if your into that sort of thing............

BTW, I am, I would love to have that be my underhood, VERY impressive work, you have done something rare, high performance AND show car underhood looks at the same time. Hats off to you.
