Sorry but I am a little confused. Does anyone have pictures of where to add the stack of washers? I threw this idea past my alignment guy and he was just confused. I dont know the specifics to it, but I told him that I think if we add some washers on both sides and then realign it I will have more turning angle. I/He didnt understand why though. haha If you add washers to both sides wont it just push the front of the tires out? (sorry I dont know the names like toe in and toe out. but it sounds like it would cause toe out? )

Thanks.

they go on the inside, where the tierod threads into the rack. this is what i dont get about this mod though. the spacers legnthen your tie rod. which is gonna toe out your car. then you get it realligned, they adjust you're joints back in and voila, you're back to the same legnth tierod with the same steering angle as before. all those pics of the tires turned more are probably from before it was alligned.

The spacers increase the lock to lock on the rack ...

I have searched for pictures and such .... and I'm about to put my engine/rearend back in so I gata get aligned. I would like to do this mod so the alignment wont go to waste.

Anybody have any information on how it works? Its kinda weird how everyone just says do it .. .but ... we dont know how it works..... I'm sure it does somehow ... but does anybody know why?

ok well normally the tie rod end on the rack are what physically stop you from turning the wheel any further. the spacers basically push the tie rod ends out on the on the rack.. the spacers move the ends out while being slim enough to retreat into the rack. its just basically making the steering rack itself longer
