Yea, I just saw the movie today, and it was pretty good even though they changed a lot of the story. That FC in their was pretty bad azz, and I can't wait to get mine running now. The drifting was good in the movie. Please no flames on the drifting or initial d.

 

nah man it was well done BUT im upset about the story change it was remarkably changed...(posted before moved....lol)

 

yeah I saw it too... the acting was pretty poor. The FC looked like alot of the replica white 'Initial D' FCs out there :P

 

the story seemed sort of normal to me?? just felt like they skiped half of it or somthing...

 

I thought the movie sucked. I couldn't even watch the whole thing.

 

I thought the movie was decent. I liked the sound track and I liked the camera angles, but the driving was fare...not very impressive. The FC looked good from the outside, but it was all stock under the hood. In the anime it was suppose to be around 500 horse or something like that.

I seen it twice and give it a 7 for entertaining.

 

I haven't seen it yet. But a lot of my friends all say it sucked. It uses most of the same characters
from the anime but the storylines are NOTHING alike. That's what they say of course.

I've only seen the trailers for it. The camera angles look awesome.

P.S. The FC from the anime had about 350hp but he downgraded it to 260hp to race the Hachi-Roku.

they killed the story imo , and the driving was poor. ruined it for me totally ,. the anime is 100 x's better

yea they skipped and messedup alot of the charchter elements.....mixed stuff up hell that skylione guy was drifting.... and he was supposed to be all about grip driving because he LOST to a skyline....silly hongkong actors....lol

 

I thought it was good. I didn't like how they changed itski's character teh way they did but I thought it stuck to the stroy pretty well. Takumi was pretty close to the anime atleast. I also didn't like how they made bunta abusive.
