white smoke on startup...no coolant loss
I've got an 88na, and have progressively had white smoke on startup. It lasts for about 10 seconds, then levels. Sounds like coolant, right? but my coolant loss is probably only about 1/2 to 1 ounce per 6000 miles. I fill it halfway up maybe once a year. This problem has been growing over time, and it was suggested to me that it might just be bad fuel injectors, leaking while the car is sitting. When it floods, it REALLY floods, so I thought this might be a possibility. Engine rebuild only has 60k on it. Any help?

I'm in the same boat with the small amounts of white smoke at start up. No coolant loss, and fresh engine. I also was thinking that it was possible that some fuel leaks while my car sits. No flooding issues yet though. Still trying to figure it all out.

I know I'm doomed to get a lot of people just saying white smoke=coolant loss, but it's just not the case.

I've got the same issues a little bit of smoke on startup. I dont think it's coolant either. My guess is that its leaky injectors because it doesnt happen every start up. Sometimes it does it on cold starts some times hot starts but not everytime. Also with my car i always hit the gas on startup to keep it from reving to 3k to warm up and it might just be extra gas from me tapping the throttle. I'm not too worried ill drive it till the wheels fall off.
