i've been cleaning up a few things here and there to get the car in good driving condition and one of em is taking out the bottom piece of carpet , i've done a good job up until the part that goes under the shifter and dash. what do i remove to get to this? i dont really want to take box cutters to it quite yet because i'm scared of cutting wires under there.

 

um.....take out the dash. If you don't want to cut it the only way to get the carpet from under the dash and shift surround is taking out the dash, sorry man.
