where's the guy with the fiberglass friend?
This is about the thread where some one mentioned they had a friend that could make FC3S body parts...
I knew this post would get lost in the million pages on the other post.
I want, reeeaaalllyyyy baddly, cabon fiber fenders and quarter panels. just stock width or even an inch wider so I can fit 245s up front. I am going to paint them because I am not a ricer so the lay up work doesn't have to be pretty. I will buy the guy the factory replacment quarter panels so he can make a mold.
I gues fiberglass will do but I want the added benifits of the carbon fiber. I will buy the fiber cloth for him. I will do what it takes to get this going.
all four corners of my car have been dinged and hit my idiots in car parks. I haven't fixed it because I want CF. help me

RE:
If you want them wider than normal your best bet is to find someone who already has a mold. These are wider than stock.

Look at the EP (E-Production) fenders. Ask them to lay some carbon in the mold.

I have changed my mind. Mazdaspeed7 told me where to get the supplies I need to do it myself. I will start making the molds by next month. I am doing CF fenders, quarter panels, front air dam, rear velance, the moon roof, and mabey the doors. By the time I am finished making the molds, it will be spring, so by summer, I will have a complete CF body on and ready for painting. If it is not too much a pain in the *** to get high quality parts, I will sell some made to order at decent prices. I think the body parts out there are way over priced even the fiberglass. I will keep every one up dated
