Wheres a good price for RB Turbo Back??

Im a little bit discouraged at the performance of my FC. I really cannot complain cause the car is a 1987 and has 141k original miles. It still moves out really good though, not one problem with the motor.

The car has pretty nice pickup on the bottom to mid level but it seems as if the cats are totally clogged up. Plus I still have my exhaust leak somewhere up front. The hell with cats!!

I want an RB turbo back system. I already built a FCD so exhaust is next. Where can I get the RB turbo back system at a fair price? I priced it at my local shop for $789 and no discount was available. Please help me out guys! Theres a lot of money involved here!

you are not going to find it any cheaper since that's what RB charges. if you want something cheap but just the down pipe. then get a local shop to weld you a single 3" back to a muffler.

and I wouldn't be adding the exhaust untill after you get some more fuels mods. atleast a bigger fuel pump. an FCD does NOT make it safe to run higher boost on it's own.

When I purchase a turbo back system I plan I also buying one of those Warblo pumps, a boost guage, I built an A/F guage and FCD, and I was also pondering porting my waste gate I guess from 15mm to 19mm if everyone says thats good.

Why did they discontinue the system?? You mean I cannot buy it anywhere?? And why is it so damn expensive?? Whats another compairable system (turbo back)??

I never knew it was discontinued myself.

Try Mazdatrix @ http://www.mazdatrix.com/

Expensive?&nbsp It's relatively cheap compared to other options (MindTrain).&nbsp No one else makes a full turbo exhaust for the car - anyone can refute this?&nbsp For the power gains it gives you, it's worth the money.&nbsp Exhaust systems of this caliber cost over a GRAND in Japan.&nbsp The full MindTrain system is over $1,200!

1987-91 TURBO II Complete High Performance Exhaust System*

Note: We are currently out of stock on these systems. We are undertaking a complete redesign of these systems and will be offering these systems with the next release. A release date has not been set at this time. (11/2001).

I guess I should have worded it differently...

I wanted that too. I'll just buy a DP, make a midpipe, and use the old HKS catback I just got...

I can get you a good deal on the system. I just got off the phone with my rep and was told that they will come mid-January. I can place a system on hold for you and save you like $35.00 probably off the shipped price from Racing Beat.

Probably do it for $789.00 shipped.

PM me if you're interested. All piping has a semi-polish to it now. The cans are no longer painted black. The flanges however are painted black since they are not stainless steel.

See ya, Rishie

Knightsports makes/made a dual turbo back for 2nd gen. Split into huge duals about 4-6 inches off turbo flange. Beautiful, and I was so close to having one... Mabye someday I will find another.

And you do know it's easily over US$1,000 equivalent - like Y160,000?
