Where's the best spot to get power for A/F gauge?
My power wire is snaked down thru the gap between the dash and instrument hood currently, as my gauge is mounted on the left corner of the instrument hood and it looks like it was tapped into the cruise control plug area.
I found this this morning trying to figure out why my cruise didn't work. the cannon plug was disconnected from the module near the fuses on the driver's kickpanel and there's a half of a u-shape connector on the end of the gauge power wire - so I suspect when the install was done it was just plugged into the cruise module or something. (I plugged the cruise connector back in - works fine)
I don't have an electrical tester/multi-meter.
It's a '90 TII.

A/F guages use such little power that you can tap nearly any source of 12V that is hot only when the key is set to "run"...there are several wires around the cruise/headlight switch that will work, but you may just want to tap the "IGN" wire coming from the keyswitch.
