Where are the Tucson RX-7s at?
I have searched this site, including the regional ares, and there are no Tucson people or threads. I am looking for people in Tucson who race/mod 7's to BS with and check out races...etc. Anyone out there?

I go to the UofA, i have a Red 91' N/A with custom cat-back, bonez race pipe, cone filter, taken some weight out of it, msd ignition, but i need a new clutch and i wont get one till i go home to Houston in july. I love my car, its not as quite as fast as it should be but im working on that...but it still moves i pull pertty good on my friends modified Civic SI. im really busy with school crap and frat parties but if you ever wanna look at it go to 6th and Warren right accross from the football stadium, its parked there on the street. also i got a ticket last saturday for going 70 in a 30 so im going to be taking it easy for a while.

Thats cool...I am actually looking for some people to hang out with, there isnt really any RX-7 people that I know. And the local 7 club never wrote me back...This town sucks.....

Let's meet up! J-Rat, sorry I didn't write back. I'm a jerk like that...
Anyways. Yeah, we should meet-up. I'm a senior at the U (business management). I drive an '86 NA-- got it for 50 bucks and already ran 16.3 in the 1/4. So far I've got a cone filter and high-flow cats (Catco). It needs some more work, but I'm taking it easy on it until I fix my T-Bird (aj, you may have seen in-- Cobra R hood, chrome rims, etc). It blew a head gasket and I'm prepping for a heart transplant. (:
I'm availabe this weekend if you guys want to meet or something. I've got a few friends that like to drag race (legal at SiR).

ya this place is really boring compared to houston...i see lots of civic's with unpainted body kits and other crappy cars, although i see more second gen rex's around here than in houston...i raced an 87 turbo and did pretty good but lost however i had 2 people in my car so it wasnt a real race in my mind. and the damn cops are hardasses they are everywhere...no good places to race that ive seen.

Yeah, I just recently got busted in my Chevelle (sold it though) that ticket HURT!! I am at SIR a few weekends a month, I wanted to race my 87, but I seem to be having some serious problems getting it through emissions (I failed today, but DAMN it was fun driving there). I am gonna be tearing the RX back apart this weekend (between hangovers) so if you wanna hook up, let me know.. Did you hear about what happened at the illegals a few weekends ago?

ya i think i have seen that car actually. ive seen a red 86-88 n/a rx7 around here but i havent seen who drives it. i really want to get headers and a clutch before i go race my car...also i want to see how i fair aginst other n/a rx7's that are modified so that i can know if im as fast as i should be. btw i have a gtech. so if you guys ever want to meet up drop me a line by email ajrx7m2420@aol.com

Speaking of local Tucson 7 club do you guys know Tasos?..he had a yellow TII. Hes a very nice guy and sold me a couple of parts that was gona go to his TII.. Anyone know him personally??...
