Where to tap for 'ignition' by air filter?

Hi,
I need to find an ignition lead (positive when key is in on position, and/or car is running) by the air filter area.

There must be a wire by the relays down by the washer fluid reservour, or the pressure sensor???

The car is a 1991 n/a.

Thanks,
-a

Are you looking for a "tach signal" wire, or just one with 12v with the key on?

That shouldn't be too hard for ya, if it's the latter...

What about the boost sensor 12v wire?

I used the 12VDC that is at the aux fan for this application. 12V when the car is on.

There is also a spare IG2 line on the windshield wiper plug.

I just remembered - the fuel pump control has an IG2 line right there.

The fuel pump resistor relay is in perfect proximity to where I want to draw the signal from. However, looking at the FSM, page F1-8, I am having a hard time understanding which of those six wires will give me a 12v signal only when the car is turned on (ignition +).

Does anyone know which of those wires it actually is?
